About Packdown
Packdown is a band management web app built for UK gigging musicians — the people who actually show up, load in, play the gig, and then argue about who gets what on the drive home.
What Packdown does
Packdown replaces the WhatsApp threads, spreadsheets, and collective guesswork that most bands use to manage their admin. It gives the whole band — not just the person running everything — a shared view of every gig, every payment, and every payout.
It tracks gigs, automates fee splits between members, logs mileage for each person per gig, manages gear checklists, builds up a history of every venue you've played, and produces earnings and mileage reports you can actually use for tax purposes.
It's not a social platform, a streaming service, or a rehearsal scheduler. It's the financial and logistical back office your band has been running in someone's head.
Who it's for
Packdown is built for UK-based bands of 2–8 people who gig regularly. That includes:
- Function bands
- Tribute acts
- Covers bands
- Originals bands
- Jazz groups and combos
- Acoustic duos
It's primarily aimed at the band leader or admin — the person who currently carries everything in their head. But every member gets an account, so the whole band benefits, not just the person doing the work.
Product status
Packdown is a live web app available now at app.packdown.co.uk. It runs in any browser on iPhone, Android, or desktop — no download required. You can install it to your phone's home screen for an app-like experience.
Native iOS and Android apps are in development. All data is stored in the UK and the product is built with UK GDPR compliance in mind.
Pricing
One subscription covers the whole band — there's no per-seat pricing. Every member is included.

If you cancel, your data is kept for 12 months so you can pick up exactly where you left off if you come back.
